An act of rage. An act of love. An act of war. The act of waiting for Centrelink to connect you to an operator. The act of filling in forms. The act of a bunch of people trying not to hurt each other while getting what they want.

The system is no longer in our control. Rather we are in its control, it has its own will, we listen, and we obey it. We are scared to cross it. We have seen what happens when people don’t follow the rules.

The People Vs. channels our frustration with bureaucracy and the power structures that govern our world in an unpredictable, rebellious, and evocative new performance work.
